For retired employees who still wish to come to the campus, please click on the link below to register your vehicle:

Retiree Permit

Select "Retiree" as the permit type and "Biennial" as the Permit Period.

When the form asks for Campus address/Department address or Home Address, please indicate 51 Lawn Ave, Wasch Center.

Please note that there are separate blocks for the City, State and Zip Code

When it asks for Home, Work or Cell Phone, you may enter a phone number.  If you do not have a work number (which is a required field), you may enter "none" in that field so the form processes, or enter your cell phone or home number if you wish.

If there are any fields that are required to be filled in, but do not apply to you, just enter "none" in that block and the form will be able to process.  These fields will show in Yellow when you try to continue if they need to be filled out.

VIN and Insurance information for vehicles is optional.

We will issue an employee permit with a F sticker on it to designate you as a retired employee and you will be able to utilize any lot on the campus.  The permit will need to be renewed every 2 years.

Permits are typically processed within 72 hours, please stop by 208 High Street to pick up your permit.  You may call 860-685-2345 to check if your permit has been processed before you stop by.

Electric vehicle charging stations are available for anyone to use to charge their vehicle.  Vehicles must be actively charging and/or waiting for charging in the space for no more than 8 hours.  A list of campus charging locations can be found HERE.  Please note that as of 10/25/23, there are fees associated with charging in certain spaces.

The below email explains the fees for charging at certain stations:

Dear Friends,

During the past summer Wesleyan installed 16 electrical vehicle charging stations, bringing the total number of chargers on campus to 30. Of the 16 new chargers, 10 are high-capacity Level 2 chargers, which can charge an average electrical vehicle in approximately three hours and the other six are Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFC) (also called Level 3 chargers), which can charge an average electric vehicle in 50 minutes.

The University will charge a flat rate of $0.25 per kWh for the new high-capacity Level 2 chargers and $0.40 per kWh for the DC fast chargers. If after a two-hour grace period you are still parked in a charging spot when you’ve completed charging your vehicle, you will be charged a nominal fee by the hour. We want to make sure that charging stations are available to everyone who might need one.

These charges will be subject to change as the market for car charging evolves. Free chargers are still available near the College of Film and the Moving Image (T-Lot) and Freeman Athletic Center (Q-Lot).  See all charging station locations

The new charges, which are in line with charging fees in local municipalities, is effective immediately. Users may pay at the charging station by either using the FLO app, available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, or by purchasing a FLO card.  To learn more visit flo.com

Thank you for your partnership as we work towards creating a more environmentally sustainable community.
